About Purdy House Publishing

About Purdy House Publishing & Consulting:

Purdy House Publishing & Consulting is an independent AI governance and assurance practice based in Edmonton, Alberta, founded by Ryan James Purdy.

The practice provides AI assurance assessments, governance advisory, and implementation support for school boards, districts, EdTech vendors, and the insurance professionals who underwrite them. The work bridges the gap between aspirational AI policy and the operational documentation that regulators, insurers, and procurement authorities require. The methodology is increasingly applicable to adjacent sectors facing the same governance pressures.

Ryan has published three books, seven whitepapers, and over 40 articles on AI governance, insurance market dynamics, and regulatory compliance in education, and contributed to the 100 Minds project from Edu AI Pakistan, which is expected to play a key role in that nation's AI policy development.

Published research is available on SSRN, Zenodo, Academia.edu, and this site.
